 Sandra Hardman joins the library board of trustee’s July 1 st ,2026
 Board did Endorsements education film from 6pm to 6:15 pm
 Board will continue to do Endorsements during monthly meetings
 Library will add a closet in the community center for the library’s food pantry.
 We also have a refrigerator in the community center to be used by only the library
when we receive perishable items for the food pantry. It will have a lock on it. people
will need to ask library staff for anything perishable we have if they need something.

 Some books pulled for the garage sale that didn’t sell will be donated to nonprofit in
Des Moines
 Tammy changed Address to Library’s address so we receive our packages for the
library not City Clerk.
 Need to update the Community Centers and Library’s Duty’s
 Duncombe going to do Board of Directors Meeting this year 1 ½ to 2 hrs. For the
board Walking Tacos & Desserts??August 5 th 2026 Social will start at 5:30pm
Meeting starts at 6:00pm.Those going can car pool if needed .
 Paying Tjaden Electric in 2 installments one in May and 2 nd in June
 Revamp City’s web site .Not done yet
 Post agenda 24 hour in advance. posted at post office, Fastway, city clerk’s office.
Library site, next door neighbor.
 Library needs to post minutes 14 days after meetings in library, post office, city
clerk’s office.
 Library’s 35 th Birthday party to be held at fire station .Library will get credit for all who
attend. serving cake, pulled pork ,potato salad, beans ,chips, lemonade water.
 Request to Roger the library handles all rentals of community center that way library
is aware of the center being rented out .We still give all rental money to city clerk.
Meeting was adjourned with all members voting in the affirmative.
